Good eyes, I guess you have seen the SAP HANA processing possible flag

The system I have is on BW 7.40 SP10.

 

But the different BW release should not be the reason why you have this transformation incomplete in the system. Although the content release we are using is actually BI Content 757, the content objects in info area 0MMPUR (like 0PUR_C01 and tranformations) are supposed to be identical across the content releases 737, 747 and 757.

 

Could you please check:

- Go again to the definition of the transformation in RSA1

- Switch the Version from 'Active' to 'Content'

- Check now the second rule group again

If it is displayed there, you might try to fully delete the cube 0PUR_C01 and transformation and completely reinstall the content.

Otherwise we would need to check some repository tables...

Dear Andreas,

 

I have got the answer from SAP OSS . Its because of BI_CONT. Presently, we are on bi_cont 737 sp11. SAP global support consultant ask me installed SP12 OF 737 . Its available in SP12 OF 737.

Hi Sander,

 

 

 

I've opened the SAP ticket and the development team found out the problem.

 

 

 

The cause of the problem was the commit work in the SD customer coding.

The local sales team changed the code and the changes for 2LIS_11_VAKON are being sent to BW sucessfully now.

IS Retail - How can I load article hierarchy texts

Hi SCN

 

I am using the article hierarchy in ECC created with transaction WMATGRP03 and I am loading this into BW with the extractor 0MATERIAL_CDTH_HIER. 

 

To do this I read a blog which detailed an edit to table ROOSOURCE changing the extractor routine from the standard CMBW_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_CDTH to the IS retail version RTCMBW_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_CDTH but apart from this minor edit to the business content this works fine and I can see the hierarchy in reports in BW.

 

What I don't have is texts for the hierarchy nodes - extractor 0CM_CDT1_TEXT and 0RF_ARTHIER1_TEXT return nothing because they are pointing to views with no data - the actual data seems to be stored in table WRF_MATGRP_STRUCT.

 

I can create a generic extractor on this table but does anyone know if there is a SAP content extractor for these texts ?

Hi Raman,

 

Sorry for my late response and thank you very much for your valuable reply.

 

We have started to install the necessary catalogs and info objects, info providers one by one.

 

We need a clarification on installing the BEX reports. While installing the BI standard reports if we are grouping in the mode of "Data flow Before" will it bring all the info providers as well? or what is the best way needs to follow when installing the BI standard querys.

 

We need to install 16 standard BI querys, Could you please suggest on this.?

Hi,

 

if your whole data flow was installed upto cube then just you can install bex query(assumed as query built on cube) only with only necessary objects.

 

Even if your data flow not yet activated then start activating data flow objects one by one.

 

If you go with data flow before, you may get lot issues and inconsistencies and time consume to solve the issue.

 

if you go with one by one activating data flow like info objects/catalogs/data source/dso/cube/transformations/infopack/dtp and final bex reports.its easy to solve any issues.

Hi Raman,

 

Thanks for your reply. We are trying to BI content dso 0SRCT_DS1 and we are getting the below error while activating the dso "InfoObject 0LOC_CURRCY has to be contained in DS (required by InfoObject 0OUTAGTARGT)". We have checked the objects 0loc_currcy & 0OUTAGTARGT and found its in active version only .

 

Also we have again installed both the objects and try to install the dso but getting the same error.

 

Can u suggest on this?

Can you please check if there are any TRFC's in SM58. Please try to clear that.

Can you please check the status of idcos for both BW and ECC " BW IDoc number" & "OLTP IDoc number"

 

"OLTP IDoc number" Status should be "03"

DataSource 0CO_PC_01: No extraction of originally planned Material Components with zero actual Costs

Hi experts,

 

we are using the SAP standard DataSource 0CO_PC_01 "Cost Object Controlling: Plan/Actual Data".


We have the following scenario:


  • Production Order: 05
  • Finished Product: 26
  • Costing relevant Material Components (Material BOM): positive target costs and zero actual costs
    • 27
    • 50
  • Material Components (Order BOM): zero target costs and positive actual costs
    • 43
    • 26

 

 

ERP -> CO03 -> Goto -> Costs -> Analysis:

After the extraction, in the DataSource 0CO_PC01 are only the Material Components (43 and 26) with actual costs available.

 

We need also the two components (27 and 50) from the Material BOM with only target costs (value type 20) in the DataSource.

Any ideas or experiences how it´s possible to extract also the components which are not necessary but originally planned (Order BOM vs. Material BOM) for the production of the finished product?

changes to Financial Statement hierarchy- FSE3 impact on BW !!

Hello ,

 

I have just been informed in my project that changes have been done in FSE3 rearranging some of the accounts to other nodes and some new nodes created.  We have additionals systems linked like BW , BPC , BCS .

Can anyone help me understand the impact of this change in BW ?   like extractors , dataloads , cubes , reports which could be impacted or need to be changed .


Appreciate your inputs .

Hi Ram,

 

Data flow won't be effected.

If you have hierarchy loads then those may disturbed.

 

How you maintained related hierarchies(financial statement) at bw side? by manual or automation?

if its automation then no issues.\

if its manual then at bw side also need to do the same changes(nodes) at hierarchy structure levels.

Standard R3 report in SAP BW

Dear all,
I need to design the standard R3 report T code: S_ALR_87012284 financial statements in SAP BW in a bit customized way.

I am bit confused about which base tables are being used in the report .  Would any body suggest on this ?

Also this standard report, isnt  it a cumulative one? that is it always shows total of all reporting fiscals?

Are the reporting fiscals = 16 in  this report.
Requirement is to design the report  for each fiscal period.

 

I have used  0fi_gl_1  extractor but I am not able to get the desired result. i thought base table should be GLT0.

Please suggest.

Raman,  Can you please exaplain a bit more on what you mean by manual or automation ?


Leslaw , 0GLACCEXT   - only the text data is loaded not the hierarchy . However  we load 0GLACCOUNT  - and its HIERARCHIES 0GL_ACCOUNT  has the hierachy  BCTE  which was changed in ECC -  FSE3 . This hiearchy is extracted every single day with out any issues.

Can you please tell me how i can find all the cubes and queries which will get affected ?
