thank you for your reply.

 

 

 

Yes I did. I executed the steps below before the tests.

 

 

 

1 - Delete the setup table, delta queue(rsa7) and  sales order queues in smq1

2 - Transport the changes with the new field in the extract strucutre for Sales Order Condition

3 - I did new init for Sales Order Item and Conditions

4 - The new sales order has been created and saved

5 - The unit of price (the new field added) in the sales order condition has been changed but unfortunatelly these changes have not been sent to delta queue.

 

 

 

I've checked the table "TMCEXCFS" and the status for this new field is inactive but I don't know if this could be the cause of my problem, though.

have a (good) look at function module RSARCH_DATE_SHIFT...

 

the following values

 

I_DATE                           <your value from TVARVC in the correct format - should be type D>

I_SHIFT                          1

I_SHIFT_UNIT                MON

I_OPTION                       GT

 

should get you a long way

Bringing the actual cost (splitting among activity type) using 0co_om_cca data sources

Hi expert,

 

I'm using the data source 0co_om_cca_9 to bring the cost center data but the actual data is not being split per fixed and variable cost.

 

I've checked with CO team and the process to split the cost happens in the end of the month and it record the data with value type '3' in the covp table but the standard data source 0co_om_cca_9 just get the data with value type '4'.

 

Does someone know a standard datasource to bring the data with value type 3 from covp?

2lis_02_SCL , RSA7 gets zeros once invoice receipt posted

Hello,

 

 

We have tried 2 different way to extract PO changes using 2lis_02_scl

 

( 1) PO created , GR and IR --> 2Lis_02_scl extracting data into BW without any issues for one PO

 

(2) PO created then GR posted  --> 2lis_02_scl extracting GR changes into BW witout any issues.

     After GR changes extracted into BW,  IR posted then we notified LBWQ has the changes but RSA7  Deltas =0 gets blank.

 

Why are we missing IR changes after we extracted GR changes? any ideas??

I am fine, thank you. How are you?

Strange case, I am really thinking what is best to do. According to me you have followed the right procedure and also it is a standard field available in one of the field pools. I would expect the field to be delta relevant. If it would have been a custom field, then it was a different story.

I suggest to run report RMCEXACT (please refer to SAP Note 766603 - Activation problems with extract structures). I am curious what the report says about the affected extract structure.

Also useful can be to make a small modification to the communication structure, to activate it and then repeat the steps you executed before. Just to be sure.

Hi,

I'm not a CO guy but I think you can use 0costelmnt. All you have to know is which GL account is fixed / variable cost.

Abap program in PC to alert 0 records in DSO

Hi Folks,

 

I need to write an abap program in process chain which will alert with an email whenever there are 0 records in DSO. Kindly assist.

 

1. Fetch the latest request from the table RSSTATMANPART for the particular DSO,

2. Check if it has zero records

3. If it has records then activate it using RSDODSACT1 program

4. If it has zero records, then end.

Hi,

 

Yes, You can do it at SE03 as stated by Sander.

That is the only way to do at source side.

 

if your 1000 data sources were saved into $tmp then you can change  $tmp package to custom package.

 

If you need clear steps let us know.

HI,

Thank you both for the reply, I did go to se03 originally and tried to do it there. However I wasableto gather the 1200 Datasources but then it said could not move from $TMP into another package. I may have done something wrong. I have added other objects to transports this way but they were from active requests.

Hi,

 

Data sources won't move to cusotm package.

You will repalce $tmp with Custom package.

You need to select proper object type at SE03  R3TR RSDS-->click on change object directy entry, there you will see $TMP editable screen.

 

Have you created custom package?

 

Can you share screen shots which you done.

 

Mean while please search on google and find clear steps.

google search word as "changing the packages sap technical".

Yes this a standard field available in one of the field pools. I've executed the standard procedure (right to left side in the pool fields) -> generate the datasource --> activate it.

 

I've run the report  RMCEXACT and there aren't any include or append inactive.

 

I was checking all procedure and there is something strange.

 

This new field which I'd like to be relevant for delta is (KOMV-KMEIN) and it was available in the pool fields (lbwe), but in the left side for condition structure in the lbwe this new field seems like disabled (like a custom field (z)) and inside the structure (MC11VA0KON) the new field was included in the append.  Shouldn't it have being included in the standard strucutre?

I've made more tests and the stranger point is when the field (KMEIN) is changed (in the condition tab into va02 transaction) the new record is generate for 2LIS_11_VAITM but not for 2LIS_11_VAKON.  This new field was added just for 2LIS_11_VAKON datasource, therefore it seems like the procedure to add this new field have not worked like expected.

Hi George,

 

In my opinion it should work as long as you are using an appropriate Package (transportable, connected to a transport layer).

If you have more than 1,000 DataSources, please do not forget to remove the restriction on number of objects (it's 1,000 I believe).

If you go to the menu, choose Select Subtree and after that via the menu Reassign, you should be able to change the Package for all DataSources in one go.

Please try it again.

Hi César,

 

You have done an excellent analysis and logically speaking KMEIN should be delta-relevant. Moreover because it is part of the main structure MCKOMV.

I think it might be time to create an SAP Support message. Supply your detailed analysis in the message and also mention the release/SP details and which SAP Notes you reviewed.

Please keep us updated because I would like to know the cause of this issue.

Hi Bruce,

since all of them custom you dont need any downtime, ECC transactions can happen. regarding the run time and resources you need to test in Dev to get an idea since it is different for each case

The Text Field Changed in Delta mechanism for 0FI_GL_14

Hi all,

 

I am using BW extractor 0FI_GL_14 as data source to get GL data daily.

When we tested the delta extraction, everything was good except the Text Field Changed.

 

for example, the text field SGTXT.

Document 100050756 – before change in ECC

In Extractor, it just updated in the same document.

The issue is that the changed value cannot be captured by delta in 0FI_GL_14, that means this record is not in the delta list.

so does anyone know is it the Delta mechanism for 0FI_GL_14 is setup by SAP like this or any other configuration I need to do?

 

Note.

I am using BODS 4.0 CDC to get the delta from 0FI_GL_14, but I assume the delta mechanism should be the same for BW cubes and BODS jobs.

Hi,

 

There are some situations when you shouldn't load BW while ECC is active.

eg. lets suppose you load data do dso directly from master data tables,

like that:

In such case there will be some inconsistences in transactional data if there are master data records missing while loading transactional data.
