so instead of searching for that value '10' on the sales order, you wish to search for it on the material?
I don't know by heart how the variant configurator stores this info (I'm assuming in tables INOB, AUSP & CABN)
honestly, I would check the entries in those tables first... and see whether it's actually possible to do so
if it is, then maybe just create an extractor directly on those tables... I'm guessing the logic differs from the "default", so a "generic" program (which the program behind CTBW basically is) won't deal with it
