So, as of now you don't have inventory data flow at prod.
if yes then , its easy to handle.
Lets do changes at cube level what ever you want.
Later do the test run at dev system and check the loaded data at bw side.
Later Transport your whole data flow one by one.
Assumed as you whole data flow was active at dev system.
1. Collect data sources into Transport request and transport from ECC Dev to ECC qua.
2. Replicate your data sources from ECC Qua to BW Qua.
3. Collect bw active data sources into new transport, move to BW Qua. Now bw Qua data sources are active.
4. Later transport your cube into BW Qua.
5. Collect transformations and info packs into new transport. move to BW Qua.
6. collect dtps into new transport and move to Qua.
7. Later you can transport process chain and bex reports thru new transports for each.
